The Jurisdiction of Courts and Enforcement of Judgments (Amendment) Act 2012 gives effect to the Convention on Jurisdiction and the Recognition and Enforcement of Judgments in Civil and Commercial Matters which was signed at Lugano on 20 October 2007.
It amends the Jurisdiction of Courts and Enforcement of Judgments Act 1998 and the maintenance Act 1994, and provides for related matters.
