SI No 134 of 2018 Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act 2005 (Commencement) Order 2018

The purpose of this Order (as provided for in sections 1(2) and 4(2) of the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act 2005 (No. 10 of 2005)) is to activate the repeal of the Mines and Quarries Act, 1965 (No. 7 of 1965) in so far as that Act relates to Mines and to revoke all Regulations, Orders and Rules made under that Act as they relate to mines.

The Order comes into operation from 30 April 2018, from that date the Mines and Quarries Act 1965 is revoked.
