Minister Byrne welcomes opening of the Europa Experience

Minister of State for European Affairs and Defence, Thomas Byrne, today (Thursday, 27 March) welcomed the formal opening of the Europa Experience at the European Parliament Liaison Office in Dublin.
The Europa Experience is an immersive, multimedia space designed to help visitors better understand the European Union, its workings, and its impact on daily life. The Europa Experience offers Irish citizens and visitors a unique opportunity to explore the Union’s role in shaping our collective future.
Speaking at the formal opening of the Europa Experience, Minister Byrne said: “The Europa Experience offers visitors the opportunity to explore the workings of the European Union from the heart of Dublin city. I encourage everyone to visit this free of charge exhibition and learn more about how our shared Union works in practice. It is terrific to see that the Europa Experience is available in all 24 official EU languages, including our own first language, Irish."
Minister Byrne highlighted the importance of the EU to Ireland, stressing how membership has shaped the country’s economy, society, and international standing.
