Statement by the Tánaiste on reports of Israeli air strikes in Gaza

Reports of Israeli air strikes in Gaza are deeply concerning.

I urge all parties to respect the ceasefire and hostage release deal, and to implement their commitments in full.

Ireland calls for an urgent end to all hostilities, the release of the remaining hostages and the resumption of humanitarian access at scale.

We need to see a permanent end to hostilities and a pathway to peace.
