Aer Rianta International

Aer Rianta International is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Dublin Airport Authority that manages duty-free shops, bars and other airport management activities in overseas locations.


Commission for Aviation Regulation

The Commission for Aviation Regulations principal function is to regulate passenger charges at Dublin airport and air traffic control charges at airports with over 1 million passengers per year.

The Commission also has responsibility for slot allocation at Dublin airport, licensing of air carriers under EU regulations, the groundhandling market, licensing of travel agents and tour operators and for overseeing enforcement of EU regulations on compensation and assistance to passengers in the event of denied boarding, cancellation or long delays of flights.


Cork Airport Authority

Cork Airport plc was incorporated on 16th September 2004. However, for the present, the airport continues to be owned and operated by the Dublin Airport Authority.


Dublin Airport Authority (daa)

The daa is a public limited company, responsible for the management, operation and development of Dublin and Cork Airports and global airport retailing through its subsidiary Aer Rianta International (ARI).


Irish Aviation Authority

The Irish Aviation Authority carries out a range of operational and regulatory functions and services relating to the safety and technical aspects of civil aviation. The Authority ensures that the Irish Civil Aviation operates to international and European safety standards and systems in accordance with international agreements.


Shannon Airport Authority

The Shannon Airport Authority (SAA) is a public limited company, responsible for the management, operations and development of Shannon Airport. The company was incorporated on 16th September 2004, and the assets, business and employees of Shannon airport transferred from the Dublin Airport Authority to the Shannon Airport Authority on 31 December 2012.
