Electric Vehicle Policy Pathway

Action 79 of the Climate Action Plan commits to developing a roadmap on the optimum mix of regulatory, taxation and subsidy policies to drive significant ramp-up in passenger EVs and electric van sales from very early in the next decade.

The Electric Vehicle Policy Pathway Working Group was established to consider the policies available to Government to develop this roadmap and significantly accelerate electric vehicle sales.

This Report, which can be downloaded below in Irish or English, summarises the Working Group’s findings and recommendations.
