Low-Emission Bus Trials Report

Ireland has committed to no longer purchasing diesel-only buses for urban public bus fleets. In 2018, the Department of Transport, Tourism and Sport, together with the National Transport Authority, Dublin Bus and Bus Éireann, commissioned a comprehensive series of bus trials to help inform future procurement decisions. This document is a full report of the findings of the Low-Emission Bus Trials (2018-2019) compiled by project managers Byrne Ó’ Cléirigh Ltd.
