Memorandum of Understanding on GUI Phase 3

When Growing Up in Ireland was established in 2006, the undertaking of the study and research publications were carried out by a consortium of researchers at the Economic and Social Research Institute and Trinity College Dublin, with data archived by the Central Statistics Office (CSO) and funding from the Department of Children. In 2023, the study transitioned to being jointly managed, overseen and funded by the CSO and Department of Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth. This Memorandum of Understanding outlines each party’s duties and responsibilities under the new governance structure.
