Caroline is responsible at Principal Officer level for the Pensions Unit whose primary function is to administer pension schemes for teachers and special needs assistants in primary, secondary and community & comprehensive schools. In addition the Unit also has a policy and regulatory role in respect of pension schemes throughout the education sector.
