Shirley is responsible for the management and provision of a safe, efficient and cost effective school transport service for children, under the terms of the Department's School Transport Scheme. School Transport Section, in conjunction with Bus Éireann who administer the scheme on behalf of the Department, is responsible for ensuring quality services in line with the objectives of the School Transport Scheme.
