Public Consultation on Data Sharing Agreement with Department of Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth (DCEDIY) for carrying out Early Years education inspections in Early Learning and Care settings

The Department of Education (DE) is intending to enter into a Data Sharing Agreement under the Data Sharing and Governance Act 2019 with DCEDIY to enable the Department of Education Early Years Education Inspectorate to carry out inspections of the quality of educational provision in Early Learning and Care settings and is available for public consultation here for a period of 28 days, from 04-08-2022 to 01-09-2022.

The public are invited to make submissions by email consultations.dsa@per.gov.ie. Submissions must include the full Data Sharing Agreement name “DCEDIYDE 10/210722 – DSA for carrying out Early Years Education Inspections in Early Learning and Care settings” in the subject line of your email. Only submissions made to this email address will be accepted.

Once the public consultation period has expired submissions will not be accepted.
