What the Foreign Language Assistant Scheme is
The Foreign Language Assistant Scheme aims to provide additional support to school communities to experience the target language and its culture with a native speaker.
Post-Primary Schools may apply to host assistants who speak the following languages:
- French
- German
- Spanish
- Italian
- Japanese
Foreign Language Assistant Scheme 2024/2025
To recoup payments to the assistant of living allowance from the period April to May 2025.
The closing date for claim forms is 02 May 2025.
