Restricting your movements means staying at home and avoiding contact with other people for 14 days. You can still exercise outside by yourself, so long as you have no symptoms of COVID-19 and keep a distance of 2 metres from other people.
If you are travelling from a non-designated state, please see our travel advice.
When to restrict your movements
You must restrict your movements if you:
- have been in close contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19
- live with someone who has symptoms of COVID-19, but you feel well
