To launch Bioeconomy Ireland Week 2025, CAP Network Ireland, in collaboration with the Department, is hosting a conference titled ‘Agri-Bioeconomy Value Chains & Business Models in Ireland’

The conference will take place on Monday 13 October from 9.30am to 2.00pm at the Tullamore Court Hotel, Tullamore, Co. Offaly.

Please save the date! Registration link and further information will follow soon.

The discussion aims to highlight the range of actors and their roles across the Agri-bioeconomy value chain in Ireland. Addressing the wider agricultural and forestry community, the conference will showcase how the bioeconomy presents opportunities for rural communities by:

  • Boosting employment and new business opportunities in rural areas, through new and innovative products, services, and technologies
  • Supporting climate action by reducing carbon emissions, promoting a circular economy, and reducing waste
  • Providing high-value diversification opportunities for transforming the agri-food system
  • Supporting local sustainable and circular bioeconomy development.
