Alex Connolly

Alex Connolly has responsibility at Head of Business Unit level for the Department’s internal and external communications function, including:

• Providing communications expertise, advice and support to the Department’s Ministers and colleagues in Business Units.

• Developing and maintaining the content and presentation of the Department’s online and social media platforms.

• Managing and developing stakeholder relationships with communications functions of other Departments and DHLGH agencies.

• Designing, developing and delivering bespoke and impactful public information and marketing campaigns (with Business Units).

• Working with HR/Strategic HR, developing and delivering an effective internal communications service.

• Managing the Department’s customer relations through the QCS.
