The department's mission is to ensure that the transport, tourism and sport sectors make the greatest possible contribution to economic recovery, fiscal consolidation, job creation and social development.
Statement of Strategy 2011-2014
The Transport, Tourism and Sport objectives set out in this Statement are being introduced at a time of exceptional economic challenges for Ireland and the EU.
