The Department of Justice has for a number of years partnered with two organisations to provide online hubs that make available a wide range of consent resources.
‘We-Consent’, run by the Dublin Rape Crisis Centre, is a long-term national programme to inform, educate and engage with all members of our society about consent.
The We-Consent website can be found at www.we-consent.ie and has lots of information and resources on the topic of consent such as:
www.consenthub.ie is an online learning hub launched run by the Active* Consent team in NUI Galway. Consenthub.ie’s aim is to support young people in Ireland and those that are important to them, such as teachers, parents, and college staff, to enhance knowledge and skills of consent as a key component of positive sexual health and well-being.
It provides readily accessible resources which, importantly, supports not only the education sector but society wide participation in consent education and awareness. The resources currently available through the online consent hub include:
