The Spending Review process aims to improve how public expenditure is allocated across all areas of Government. 2017 was the first year of the current three year process. 21 papers were published covering topics ranging from enterprise supports to the State’s contribution to the funding of public transport. In some instances, these papers laid the foundation for further analysis in 2018 and 2019.
