Patrick Rochford is seconded to the Embassy of Ireland Great Britain and has responsibility at Counsellor level for leading the Economic & Commercial Section. The Department‘s team in London is responsible for the development, support and strengthening of bilateral economic and commercial relations between the UK and Ireland.
Patrick leads on maintaining and enhancing connections with key stakeholders in the UK, analysing/reporting on UK economic policy developments, supporting the enterprise development agencies to expand access for Irish businesses to the UK market and to attract investment from the UK, and to facilitate ministerial trade missions/high-level visits and other relevant bilateral engagements.
