Cathy has responsibility at Principal level for the management of the Department’s Corporate Communications Unit, which includes both the external and internal communications functions.As part of her role she oversees the: organising of media events; responses to media queries; and the delivery of proactive communications campaigns across print, broadcast and social media.Cathy has responsibility for the management of the Department’s website and intranet.Cathy also has responsibility for the FOI Unit, Customer Services and Enterprise Information Unit, and the Data Protection Unit.
