David Small has responsibility at Principal level for Adjudication Services and is the Director of Adjudication Services Division in the Workplace Relations Commission. To manage, support and oversee the delivery of a service to provide an adjudication service for the hearing of “first instance” complaints under employment rights, industrial relations, equality and equal status legislation via a panel of adjudicators. The objective of the service is to provide a fair, accessible, prompt and impartial forum for claims to be adjudicated upon.
The Adjudication Service investigates disputes, grievances and claims made by individuals or small groups of employees under employment and equality legislation and following adjudication, issues decisions to relevant parties.
