Joe O'Brien is Minister of State at the Department of Rural and Community Development and the Department of Social Protection with special responsibility for Community Development and Charities; and the Department of Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth with special responsibility for Integration.
He was elected to the Dáil in February 2020.
Previously he worked as a project manager for the Immigrant Council of Ireland.
He lives in Skerries, Co Dublin with his wife and 3 young children.
