Summary
Dublin City Council has prepared a Draft Local Area Plan (LAP) for the Park West - Cherry Orchard area, and is inviting submissions from the public.
The LAP will guide how the area will develop over time, the types of development that will be encouraged and where these should be located. It identities c. 46 ha of land available for development, capable of delivering over 2,000 new homes. The plan includes objectives relating to housing, density, public open space, car parking, infrastructure, heritage, community facilities and design standards. Dublin City Council and An Bord Pleanála will take the plan into account when assessing future planning applications in the area.
