Proposed redevelopment and upgrade of Mallow Swimming Pool
The proposed development comprises:
- construction of an extension to the front of the building to cater for new reception area, administrative offices, staff facilities (changing room, staffroom, toilet facilities) and a new party room
- construction of an extension to the rear of the pool to cater for new storeroom, sauna, stream room and multipurpose room
- construction of a new eastern gable extension
- development of a new village style communal dressing room including new showers, lockers, group changing facilities
- upgrade of mechanical and electrical equipment, wiring and plant
- upgrade of chemical dosing facilities
- upgrade of Pool Deck
- replacement of windows and doors with more energy efficient units
- replacement of roof with new more energy efficient roof material
- associated soft landscaping
