Employers can avail of JobsPlus which is replacing the Revenue Job Assist and the Employer Job (PRSI) incentive Scheme. Finally, there are separate wage supports for Apprentices in different industry sectors.
There are also a range of grants for the sponsors and supervisors involved with community development programmes, such as the Community Employment Programme, Job Initiative Scheme and Local Training Initiative.
Participants of the majority of SOLAS training courses are eligible for different allowances. The main allowances are given for the course participants' Training, Travel Accommodation and Meals, and Childcare. (It is important to read the 'notes' sections under each of the allowances for conditions/applications.)
There are a range of grants available for people with disabilities and employers, including the
Reasonable Accommodation Fund
incorporating the
Job Interview Interpreter Grant;
Personal Reader Grant;
Workplace Equipment Adaptation Grant;
and Item was unpublished or removed
Other supports include the Wage Subsidy Scheme and the Disability Awareness Support Scheme.
Social Welfare Payment Changes are affected by the Back to Work Enterprise Allowance; Part-time Job Incentive Scheme; and Working Family Payment (WFP).
