The Low Pay Commission contracts independent research on the labour market and low pay in Ireland. As part of this remit, the Low Pay Commission has entered into a research partnership with the ESRI. The Low Pay Commission also commissions research from other bodies, such as the OECD in Paris.
The Low Pay Commission maintains a productive and successful partnership with research partners in furthering research regarding issues impacting on the National Minimum Wage and Low Pay in Ireland.
