Government Digital Wallet pilot

The Government Digital Wallet is an all-in-one solution for storing essential documents on your smartphone. Store your digital driving licence, birth certificate and other vital credentials for easy access whenever you need them.

The Government Digital Wallet works in conjunction with the Life Events portal, which is a platform that lets you add your credentials online.

Your involvement in this pilot is important in shaping the future of digital public services.

To be part of this pilot, all you need is:

• to be a public servant (this is confirmed using your work email address)
• a verified MyGovID
• a smartphone

If you have all of the above, then you will be able to start the process.

Not sure whether you have a basic or verified MyGovID account, or whether you have a MyGovID account at all?

You will be able to participate in the pilot anyway, and can sign up for a MyGovID account or upgrade your MyGovID status to verified along the way.
