Estate Management

The Office of Public Works (OPW) manages a significant part of the State’s property portfolio and provides accommodation for government departments and agencies and An Garda Siochana.

Work within Estate Management includes the procurement of accommodation through property rentals; property acquisitions; the construction of new energy-efficient buildings; the refurbishment of existing accommodation to bring buildings in line with current health and safety and environmental standards; the alteration, fit-out and improvement to existing accommodation; advisory services for central Government Departments and identifying solutions to assist in addressing the carbon footprint of the State portfolio
