This framework agreement can be used to source a range of disposable catering products and meal containers.
Goods and services that this framework agreement offers
This framework agreement provides a variety of popular disposable catering products, including cups, cutlery, food bags, bowls, plates and meal containers. It also offers napkins, greaseproof paper, food handling Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and food wrapping materials.

Green benefits of this framework agreement

The EU aims to reduce the volume and impact of specific plastic products on the environment through Directive (EU) 2019/904 on the reduction of the impact of certain plastic products on the environment. This is commonly referred to as the Single Use Plastics Directive.

Green: The following Green Public Procurement (GPP) criteria were included for the purpose of this central arrangement:
Requirements and Specifications: - Products sourced from sustainable and certified sources promoting good environmental practices and tackling social issues; - Annual review meeting with the successful tenderer(s) to propose alternative environmentally friendly and sustainable solutions; - Sectoral Target 4 (Food Procurement and Food Waste Prevention) from Buying Greener; - Responsible Business Conduct; - Minimum Order Value; - Transport Plan; - Waste Management/Waste Prevention; - Environmental management measures.
Selection Criteria: Environmental Competence of Candidates; - Social Considerations.
Award Criteria: - Tenderer’s proposed promotion of Environmental Standards and Responsible Business Conduct; - Reduction of transport emissions through logistics and route planning; - Environmental Innovation;
Contract Performance Clauses: - Staff Training; Driver Training; - Delivery vehicles and transport plan; - Purchase of new vehicles; - Environmental management measures.
social: The Framework Members will promote of ‘Employment Opportunities’ in particular for youths, disadvantaged groups, long-term unemployed, older workers and the disabled.
The Framework Members will supply the OGP and Client with an annual RBC / Social Considerations report each year demonstrating that the Contractor, their suppliers/manufacturers, and all suppliers/manufacturers’ sub-contractors apply Responsible Business Conduct (RBC) in relation to sourcing of products, Environmental, Social and Labour Law Considerations.

Contract Dates
Valid From: July 1, 2025
Expires: June 30, 2029
Contract extensions may be available for this arrangement; please check the Buyer Zone or contact support@ogp.gov.ie for further information. Specifically, if you are concerned that the expiry date will have an impact on your requirements.
