Office of Government Procurement Commercial Cleaning and Window Cleaning Services Request for Tenders

The Office of Government Procurement has published a competition seeking tenders for the provision of commercial cleaning and window cleaning Services to the Irish public sector.

The procurement process has been advertised on both eTenders and in the Official Journal of the European Union (OJEU).

The competition will deliver a framework agreement that is estimated to be valued at up to €88 million per year. The framework agreement will be available for use by public bodies in:

• Central Government
• Education Sector
• An Garda Síochána
• The Irish Prison Service
• The Defence Forces.
• Local Authorities
• Health Sector – Clinical and Non-Clinical

The commercial cleaning element of the framework agreement will be available for use by public bodies that have had a total cleaning services spend over the last two years of €139,000. This means that smaller cleaning contracts are not in scope.

The window cleaning element of the framework agreement will be available for use by Public Bodies that have had a previous total annual Window Cleaning Services spend of > €25,000.

The structure of this new framework agreement seeks to encourage participation at all levels within the Commercial Cleaning Sector. The design of the framework agreement has been informed by considerable market engagement including a Request for Information that was issued in June 2019.
