Over 50 employers from a wide range of sectors will be recruiting
Event in association with EURES Cross-Border Partnership
The Department of Employment Affairs and Social Protection, in collaboration with the EURES Cross-Border Partnership, local employers Irish Life and First Derivatives and the Department for Communities NI are delighted to announce that the Dundalk Cross Border Job Fair 2019 will be held in Dundalk Institute of Technology, on Wednesday, 29th May, from 10am – 3pm.
Over 50 employers will be actively recruiting on the day, covering a diverse range of graduate disciplines and industry areas including business, technology, pharmaceuticals, health and social care, customer service, finance, retail, engineering, hospitality and the food industry.
The Cross Border Job Fair provides an excellent opportunity for graduates, and people looking to change careers to meet face-to-face with employers who are actively recruiting on both sides of the border.
There will be one-to-one coaching clinics at the event providing tailored recruitment and CV preparation advice to candidates. There will also be a jobs wall at the event that will display a range of vacancies and positions locally and cross border
The event is free for jobseekers to attend but places are limited. Jobseekers should register as soon as possible at https://crossborderjobfair.eventbrite.ie. The Minister for Employment Affairs and Social Protection, Regina Doherty, T.D. urged people living in the North East to visit the Job Fair.
"I would strongly encourage anyone in the local area looking for employment to attend this Job Fair and take advantage of the many resources and information that will be available on the day. The businesses participating include both new and existing investors in our communities that will showcase a wide and diverse range of opportunities."
