The Minister continued:
"This positive measure follows on from the extension and expansion of the Naval Service Sea-Going Commitment Scheme, which I announced in July."
The Minister closed by saying:
"We are continuing to see substantial improvements in the pay and conditions of members of the Defence Forces. In addition, following ratification by the Permanent Defence Force Representative Associations, of the extension to Building Momentum, the pay and allowances of members of the Permanent Defence Force will increase by some 6.5% over 2022 and 2023."
