The Assistant Secretary General for employment services has responsibility for the Public Employment Service, policy and operations, comprising:

employment activation supports including case management
Intreo employment services countrywide
Intreo partner employment services (contracted services)
employment programmes (including Community Employment, Tus and RSS)
employer relations/engagement
Ireland’s representative on the EU Public Employment Services Network
