Entertainers.ie proposes to hold an outdoor event in accordance with Part XVI of the Planning and Development Act 2000 & Subsequent Amendments. Under PART XVI OF THE PLANNING & DEVELOPMENT ACT, 2000 (as amended) & Part 16 of the Planning & Development Regulations, 2001 (as amended) a licence is required in respect of the holding of outdoor events. The events prescribed for the purpose of the Act is an event which comprises of an audience of 5,000 or more.
The event will consist of two days of live music on the 4th of June 2022 from 17:00 hrs – 22:30 hrs and 5th of June 2022 from 15:00 hrs – 22:30 hrs at: Pearse Stadium, Salthill Galway.
It is anticipated that the audience will be greater than 5,000 but not exceed 26,289 at this event on each day. This proposal, including a draft plan for the management of the event, may be inspected online or by a scheduled appointment at the Planning Office, Galway City Council, City Hall, College Road Galway, during covid-19 related office opening hours for a period of 3 weeks from the date of publication of the event.

Submissions or observations must include the full name and address of the person(s) making the submission and where relevant, the body or organisation represented. Please note that observations or submissions will be made public on the website and at the Offices of the Planning Department.
