Skip Hire companies, who operate within the administrative area of Cork City Council, must apply for a Skip Operators Licence (SOL) on a yearly basis.
All applications for Skip Operator Licences incur an application charge including withdrawn and refused applications. This charge is non-refundable. If you have any queries in advance of making an application please contact mary_mccaughley@corkcity.ie or patrick_oshea@corkcity.ie
Application charges are as follows :
First Application: €127.00. This fee can be paid online at the end of this form.
Renewal Application: €1.27 X S (S represents the total cubic metre capacity of all skips operated by the Applicant in the administrative area). Applicants will be contacted regarding this fee after their online application has been processed.
Please note: The person registering on this platform and applying for the licence will sign the declaration (digitally) and must be the holder of the accompanying insurance policy.
