The Community Enhancement Programme (CEP) provided capital funding to community groups in disadvantaged areas across Ireland.
The programme provided funding under several different scheme names over the course of more than five years. Funding information on all iterations of the Community Enhancement Programme is available below and by following the links in the table of contents at the top of the page.
In 2024 the Local Enhancement Programme replaced the CEP. Information on LEP funding allocations can be found here: Local Enhancement Programme - Funding Allocations

The Communities Facilities Scheme was introduced in 2017. It was targeted at disadvantaged urban and rural areas and aimed to fund projects that seek to enhance communities, address disadvantage and improve social cohesion at a local level.
These projects were funded under RAPID in 2017. This scheme was subsequently amalgamated into the Community Enhancement Programme.
