The Applicant submitted that in or about the [ ] he was assaulted at approximately [ ] by two to three youths. He submitted that he had been punched and kicked and suffered injuries to his head and body and the Garda who dealt with the incident noticed a small amount of blood on his nose and black eyes. The Applicant attended at the [ ] Hospital in [ ] where he was kept overnight and was given a date one week later to get his nose fixed. The Applicant submitted a bill from the [ ] in the sum of €333.16. The Applicant was also charged €198 and €16 by [ ] and submitted a bill for a Mr [ ] in the sum of €8.34 and another bill for €162.16 in respect of Mr [ ]. The Applicant also made an application for €40 in travel expenses. The Tribunal awards the medical expenses sought by the Applicant apart from those paid by his Insurer, the [ ] as these have already been covered by the [ ]. In the circumstances the Tribunal awards €210.50.
