Decisions under the Scheme of Compensation for Personal Injuries Criminally Inflicted ('the Scheme')

Topic: Report Costs incurred at the request or direction of the Tribunal
Effective from 1 July 2021 until withdrawn or amended
Where an award for compensation under the Scheme is refused, the Tribunal may in exceptional circumstances, direct that the applicant be reimbursed in full or in part for his or her vouched costs for specific medical and/or other expert reports, which were incurred by the applicant at the request or direction of the Tribunal.
