Ben Ryan

Ben is the Assistant Secretary responsible for the Criminal Justice Legislation function. The function is responsible for drafting both primary and secondary criminal justice legislation and creating and moving Bills through the Attorney General’s Office and the Oireachtas.

Ben has previously held a number of other senior roles in the Department, including as head of Criminal Justice Policy, head of Crime and Security and various roles in the immigration area.
