On the [ ] the Applicant was working driving his minibus when he was assaulted by a Mr [ ]. The Applicant was dragged from his minivan where he was kicked and punched repeatedly by a number of young men. The Applicant was taken by ambulance to [ ] Hospital where he remained as in inpatient until the [ ]. The Applicant was treated for concussion and he was bruised with two black eyes and on the upper arms and his lower back.

The application was received outside the three month time limit for submitting an application to the Criminal Injuries Compensation Tribunal. No exceptional circumstances were outlined for extending the time for submitting an application. In the circumstances the Tribunal makes no award.
