On the [ ] the Applicant was attacked and mugged on [ ] at [ ] by [ ] men. The Applicant was knocked out and they robbed his watch, mobile phone and wallet containing €120. The Applicant submitted that he suffers mentally and is very nervous when he walks the streets of [ ] not knowing who his attackers are. The Applicant suffered dental injuries as a result of the incident and submits that he went to the doctor which cost him €45. The dentist cost him €140, and he needs further dental treatment in the sum of €700. The application was received outside the three month time limit and no explanation was given so as to constitute exceptional circumstances for extending the time limit to allow for the application to be submitted to the Scheme. In the circumstances the Tribunal makes no award.
